Founder & Director
Art Pharmacy Consulting was founded by Director Emilya Colliver. Emilya has an extensive background in the visual arts having completed a degree in Art History from SOAS & UCL in London, and working for some of the top art galleries and institutions in the world, including Lisson Gallery, Hauser & Wirth, The British Museum and Eskenazi.
Emilya also worked with a private collector for years, James Birch Esq. where she looked after his vast collection of art featuring works by globally renowned artists such as Damien Hirst, Francis Bacon and Gilbert & George (to name a few). Her eye for spotting quality emerging artists and her passion in supporting Australian art and art practitioners is unparalleled.
Art Curator & Vandal Gallery Manager
Having completed her BA in Fine Arts, Amy is a Sydney-based artist who works as the Art Pharmacy Consulting curator-in-residence, as well as the Vandal Gallery Manager. Amy’s inspirations are people such as Candy Chang, Stefan Sagmeister, Alain de Botton, Saussure, JR, Stephen 'Espo' Powers, Jenny Holzer the list goes on.... A seasoned traveller having lived and worked in the UK and Europe, Amy grew up somewhere between rural ACT, a yacht off the Papua New Guinean coast and North Queensland. She picks no favourites among art mediums although she believes that art can be a powerful tool for social change. Having made her way into urban renewal and place making campaigns, she has big ideas for the way that art and everyday life are going to become even more integrated in the future.
Editor & Media Liaison
Kate is a Sydney-based writer and editor, who sees art as being everywhere. She fervently and naively believes that the best artworks are linked to social issues and identities; allowing people to connect despite boundaries such as culture & language. English born, she has lived in Australia (R-Adelaide and Sydney) and France. Will leap on any opportunity to write or talk about art trends, current issues, films and the adorably fat cat that currently lives on her street. Currently undergoing her Masters at UTS, Sydney.
Operations Manager & Assistant to Emilya Colliver
Born and raised in Sydney, Hannah is the organised one of the bunch at Art Pharmacy, Culture Scouts and Art Pharmacy Consulting. She helps organise things, as well as acting as Emilya’s assistant. She loves when things are filed in the correct place - and hell hath no fury when the spreadsheets are not up to date. Hannah is particularly fond of bold and vibrant art and ceramics.
